GRAND FORKS, ND (August 16) - For several years Thomas Kennedy has made the trip across the border from Winnipeg, MB to race weekly at River Cities Speedway, but had never parked his familiar blue 410 Sprint Car in RydellCars.com Victory Lane; until last Saturday night.
The race resumed and Kennedy took off once again. Midway through the race, Kennedy opened up a four second lead over Dusty Zomer and Casey Mack and ran the race's only 100+ mph-on-average lap time. Things tightened up once Kennedy caught up to lapped traffic, but he ran his father, Lou's, Shamrock Carpets #21K nice and smooth around the three-tenths mile bullring and went on to pick up his first career River Cities Speedway win and fourth NOSA win of 2014.
Dusty Zomer came home second in his Buffalo Wild Wings #82 followed by Casey Mack, Ian Madsen and Austin Pierce.
