The NOSA Sprints take on NCR for the 1st & only time in 2015
By Mike Spieker
(July 22) - The summer grind continues for the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association as the series enters its third consecutive scheduled double-header.
The Harwood, North Dakota driver topped Wade Nygaard and Mark Dobmeier in what was an instant NOSA classic. Grosz, who was running a 360c.i. engine, had considerable damage to his nose wing but still raced wheel to wheel with Nygaard lap after lap. The two drivers traded countless slide jobs in the final laps before Grosz ultimately prevailed and took the victory.
Dobmeier led in the early going of the feature, but was forced to the tail end of the field after cutting a left rear tire. After restarting 19th, Dobmeier charged up to the runner-up position as the checkers flew.
