GRAND FORKS, N.D. (July 18, 2020) – Austin Pierce won his fourth feature of the 2020 campaign at River Cities, while Jade Hastings scored his second win of the season at the Devils Lake Speedway near Crary, ND.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 30, 2020) – Austin Pierce came into Friday’s event at River Cities Speedway undefeated in feature action at the Bullring – a perfect three for three. River Cities Speedway upped the anty for the other Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA drivers, offering a $300 bounty if Pierce could be beaten. Throughout the course of the night, sponsors and fans alike chipped in to make a $1,575 bounty by the time the green flag waved for the Sprint Car feature. By Mike Spieker
ADA, Minn. (June 24, 2020) – The Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints return to the big speedway in the little farm town – Norman County Raceway in Ada, Minn. – on Thursday, June 25th. Last Friday night at River Cities Speedway, the 410 Sprint Car series had a season-high car count of 22 and many of those drivers are expected to make the quick 60-mile drive to Ada. Perhaps the odds on favorite entering Thursday’s event is 10-time NOSA champion, Wade Nygaard. Nygaard’s stats at Norman County speak for themselves.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (June 5, 2020) – The 2020 Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Car season finally got underway on Friday night at River Cities Speedway. A strong field of 17 NOSA Sprints, including two rookies, led all classes at River Cities in terms of car count. Those rookies were Zach Omdahl of East Grand Forks, Minn. and Josh Swangler of Detroit Lakes, Minn. Omdahl got upside down after contact with the turn four water barrels during his heat race, which brought his night to an end early. He was okay. Swangler came home 14th. By Mike Spieker

Martin's No. 10 sprint led almost the entire race, but Kennedy went into Turn 4 of the final lap side-by-side with the East Grand Forks driver. However, Martin accelerated ahead of Kennedy down the final straightaway to take the checkered flag. "I didn't see him, but I heard him," Martin said. "I knew it was going to be tight." |
