GRAND FORKS, ND (July 10) - It's another big weekend for the winged warriors of the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association as they gear up for back-to-back races this Friday and Saturday night.
Saturday night the series travels west to Devils Lake Speedway for their third and final appearance of the year at the Doyon, ND quarter-mile. The NOSA Sprints last visited DLS on June 20th and had a more than controversial finish. Both the leader, Wade Nygaard, and second place running, Lee Grosz, were disqualified for making unapproved adjustments to their machines under the red flag. Thompson, North Dakota's Chris Shirek took home the victory; the 14th of his NOSA career.
Hot laps begin at 6:30 with racing at 7:00 both nights. For more information, visit rivercitiesspeedway.com
