The 30th season of NOSA action came to a close last Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks with Mark Dobmeier parking the Buffalo Wild Wings No. 13 in victory lane for the tenth time in 20 races, scoring his 184th career victory with the series. Early race leader Jade Hastings, driver of the Ault Construction No. 8H clinched his second series title despite falling out of the race on lap 16.

The five-race, third-annual Wayne Anderson Cup came to it's conclusion last Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks with 2021 Anderson Cup Champion Brendan Mullen winning the 30-lap main event in the Native Nations Cannabis No. 11M, his second series win of the season. Mark Dobmeier finished fourth, securing the overall Wayne Anderson Cup title for the first time in his career.
The penultimate race of the 2023 campaign happens Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks as the series will see the third annual Wayne Anderson Cup crowned at the conclusion of Friday night's event which will also see the Midwest Power Series debut at the high-banked quarter-mile oval.
For the ninth season in-a-row, Buffalo Wild Wings presents the Blazin' Challenge at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks which gives a NOSA series regular the opportunity to earn extra prize money if they start at the rear of the field and win the main event.
This Sunday night, the road schedule comes to a close as the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association visits the Buffalo River Speedway for the second time this season. Sunday's event is scheduled to be the 14th to the quarter-mile oval that sits just 15 minutes east of the Fargo-Moorhead metro area.
For the sixth consecutive season, the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints made the trip west to take part in the annual running of the Governors Cup at Dacotah Speedway in Mandan, ND. This season was different than the other five, however, as the winner of the Cup swept the weekend as Mark Dobmeier won both features to secure the overall championship in the Buffalo Wild Wings No. 13.
For the sixth consecutive season, the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association will head to Dacotah Speedway in Mandan for the annual running of the Governor's Cup. The two-day show sets up the 12th and 13th events run by the series at the three-eighths mile oval.
Following a win for Lou Kennedy, Jr. in the series' debut at the track in 2011, the series has raced ten more features at the track, all of which have been during Governor's Cup weekend. Wade Nygaard won the first two Governor's Cup championships while he and Mark Dobmeier, driver of the Buffalo Wild Wings No. 13, split feature wins in the series' first two trips for the event in 2018 and 2019. In 2020, Brendan Mullen, who was coming off his first series win just six days prior in Jamestown, won the opening night, while veteran Bobby Martin won the second night and the overall title. Since then, Mullen, driver of the Native Nation's Cannabis No. 11M, has won the opening night three straight seasons, while Mark Dobmeier and Jade Hastings have won night two in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Last season, Dobmeier became the first Governor's Cup champion to not win either one of the main events. Coming into the weekend, Jade Hastings, driver of the Ault Construction No. 8H, is the new series point leader and will carry a 19 point lead over Brendan Mullen and a 22 point lead over Mark Dobmeier into the weekend. Nick Omdahl in the CMS No. 0 and Blake Egeland in the Engelstad Farms No. 26 complete the current top five. Zach Omdahl is sixth in the Minn-Kota Power Co-op No. 17, with Jack Croaker eight with the Hugo's Family Marketplace eight-ball. Tom Egeland is eighth in the Egeland Racing Engines No. 14, with Adam Sobolik ninth in the Evil Iron Classics No. 52. Austin Pierce rounds out the current top ten in the Opp Construction No. 2A. Mark Dobmeier and Jade Hastings were the winners of the three-race swing which included another run through the Rushmore State. Dobmeier bookended the weekend, winning his 179th series feature in the Buffalo Wild Wings No. 13 on Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, then his 180th at Casino Speedway in Watertown, SD on Sunday. Hastings won his 23rd series feature in the Ault Construction No. 8H on Saturday at I-90 Speedway in Hartford, SD.

Despite sweeping the Interstate Racing Association in last weekend's three race set, the schedule remains busy for the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints this weekend, as another three-race swing lies ahead, including a return to a pair of Rushmore State venues at Hartford's I-90 and Watertown's Casino Speedways.

This weekend, the Buffalo Wild Wings Northern Outlaw Sprint Association will co-headline an three-race swing that will welcome back the Wisconsin and Illinois based Interstate Racing Association at I-94 emr Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN on Thursday night, and a double header at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND.
