Thomas Kennedy picks up third NOSA win in dominating fashion.

GLYNDON, MN ( July 26) - After ending Friday night upside down, Thomas Kennedy parked his number 21K in victory Lane Saturday night at Buffalo River Race Park.
Wade Nygaard led the opening laps of the 22 car, 25 lap main event, presented by Dakota Power Fluid and Thunder Seed. He had Thomas Kennedy right on his heels and on lap three and the young Canadian driver passed Nygaard to take over the lead. Kennedy had built up a full straightaway lead until the caution flag flew with just three laps remaining after Nygaard spun in turn four, which put Chris Shirek and Bob Martin on his rear bumper. Kennedy got a good jump on the ensuing restart, but Shirek began to reel him in as they crossed the line with two laps to go. They came around one more time and Shirek was within striking distance as head flagman, Jason Berg, showed them the white flag. As they came in to turn three, Shirek was able to get his nose wing along side of Kennedy, but Kennedy used the lapped car as a pick and rocketed off the corner to the checkered flag. Shirek came home second, followed by Martin, Casey Mack, and Jordan Adams.
"During the caution with about 11 laps to go, I could tell I was getting really low on fuel just by the way the car was handling," said Kennedy after the race."I was really hoping there wasn't going to be another caution. But there was, and luckily I had enough fuel and I was able to cross the checkered flag in first place. It feels awesome to rebound after last night."
The win was Kennedy's third of the season after he had swept the series at Devils Lake Speedway. It was also his second consecutive win at BRRP as he won last year's All-Star Circuit of Champions event.
