Lou Kennedy Jr. makes his return to the #21K for the NOSA Season Finale.
GRAND FORKS, ND (September 11) - Up until early July of this year, Lou Kennedy Jr. was proving that he was still in his prime as he not only sat atop the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association points standings, but he also led River Cities Speedway points. A knee injury, however, has had the veteran Canadian driver sidelined for the better part of three months, but this Friday night, Kennedy Jr. will make his long awaited return to the wheel of his familiar #21K at River Cities Speedway for the NOSA season championship.
Kennedy will be debuting a completely new ride on Friday night as an incident occurred while his son, Thomas, was filling in, which led to the #21K getting upside down during last week's event at RCS. Austin Pierce will look to put an exclamation point on an excellent year as he holds a somewhat comfortable lead in both the NOSA and River Cities Speedway standings. A solid finish for the driver of the Opp Construction #2A should be enough to give him his first-ever NOSA and River Cities point titles. Also on the schedule at River Cities is Pure Stocks, Lightening Sprints, Legends, and Legend Modifieds. For more information, log onto rivercitiesspeedway.com. |
