GRAND FORKS, ND (September 2) - The Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin’ Challenge is back and it’s bringing a great opportunity for a lot drivers to walk away with a lot of money. While it still features the $8,200-to-win back row challenge during the John Seitz Memorial, there is a new format in place this year.
A Blazin’ Challenge points series will be established for the next five NOSA races and in order to be one of the qualifiers for the Blazin’ Back Row Challenge on September 9th at River Cites Speedway, drivers must be in the top eight for the Blazin’ Challenge points.
However, winning one of those five races will give drivers an automatic bid into the Back Row Challenge and the remaining qualifiers will be determined by the Blazin’ Challenge points series.
The first of those five events, which will all be $1,500-to-win, kicks off tonight at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. Night two will be Saturday at Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN, followed by Buffalo River Race Park in Glyndon, MN on Sunday. The final two races will be back at River Cities on Monday, Sept. 5th and Thursday, Sept. 8th.
Race fans that purchase a ticket for the Monday night program in Grand Forks will receive FREE admission into Thursday night’s “Prelude to the Johnny”.
