CRARY, ND (August 19) - Tomorrow night the NOSA Sprint Cars invade the high-banked quarter-mile of Devils Lake Speedway (DLS) for the third and final time in 2016. The winged warriors will be co-headlining the Saturday night special with the NLRA Late Models for the third time this season.
CRARY, ND (August 19) - Tomorrow night the NOSA Sprint Cars invade the high-banked quarter-mile of Devils Lake Speedway (DLS) for the third and final time in 2016. The winged warriors will be co-headlining the Saturday night special with the NLRA Late Models for the third time this season.
In the previous two events at DLS, Wade Nygaard and Casey Mack both picked up highly contested wins.
Most recently, Mack held off a hard charging Nick Omdahl in the final laps to pick up what was his first win of the season at the time and third career win at DLS. Omdahl, Austin Pierce, Jade Hastings, and Cory Mack rounded out the top five.
When NOSA visited Devils Lake back in May, Nygaard took his series-leading 12th victory after battling hard with East Grand Forks, MN driver Cory Mack. Behind Nygaard, the young guns of the NOSA Sprints were making some impressive moves as 20-year-old Jordan Adams came from 13th to second and 20-year-old Trent Stengl came from 12th to third. Eighteen-year-old Jade Hastings came from 22nd to round out the top five with Casey Mack finishing in the fourth position.
