Chris Shirek picks up his 1st win of 2014 in the NOSA season finale.

GRAND FORKS, ND (September 12) - The final NOSA Outlaw Sprint feature of the season had 18 cars lined up for 25 laps around the 3/10th mile bullring. Zach Wilde jumped out to a big lead at the drop of the green flag, but both Jordan Graham and Casey Mack reeled him in and sent him back to third on lap eight.
Graham and Mack then embarked in an eight lap side-by-side fight for the point. The two drivers were still battling on lap 16 when something broke on Graham's Red Pepper #99 which sent him spinning into the infield.
On the restart, Chris Shirek dove to the bottom of turn one and completed a perfect slide job on Mack to take the lead. Shirek led the final nine circuits to take his first checkered flag on the season.
"It feels good to get the monkey off our back. I wish it would have happened two or three months ago," said Shirek after his win. "We've been good all season, but we haven't been good enough. Tonight feels good."
"When Jordan (Graham) wrecked, it left the bottom open for me on the restart and I went for it."
