GRAND FORKS, ND (June 3) - After two consecutive out-of-town events, the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association has a lone date with it's hometrack, River Cities Speedway, this weekend.
The series headed to Buffalo River Race Park in Glyndon, MN Sunday, May 24th and packed the pits with 27 high-flying winged Sprint Cars. Last Saturday night the teams packed up and headed west along Highway 2 to Devils Lake Speedway. Some race teams from the western part of the state joined in on the fun and made for an outstanding field of 30 cars.
Along with the car counts, one other thing stayed consistent. That was the fact that Wade Nygaard proved that he was the fastest man in town and picked up both wins at BRRP and DLS.
Nygaard's win at Devils Lake was extra special as it was his 250th career Sprint Car win, his son Zac's fifth birthday, and his anniversary with his wife, Amy.
The driver of the Valley Oral #9 now holds an eight point advantage over Greg Nikitenko in the NOSA point standings.
Racing at River Cities Speedway kicks off at 7:00pm on June 5th, but is prefaced with hot laps at 6:30pm.
