Mark Dobmeier picks up the $1,500-to-win A-main, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings.
GRAND FORKS, ND (September 10) - The Northern Outlaw Sprint Cars roared into the speedway with 27 drivers set for the 25 lap, $1,500-to-win A-main, sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings.
After a multi-lap duel, Dobmeier was able to steal the point his in Senske & Sons #13. Once out front, Dobmeier was in a class of his own as he checked out on the pack. Meanwhile, the drivers racing in the top five were all slicing and dicing through the dense lapped traffic. Pierce and Kennedy were exchanging slide jobs and crossover moves nearly every corner of every lap, but when the checkers flew, Pierce came home in second behind Dobmeier. Kennedy, Chris Ranten, and Zomer rounded out the top five.
Dobmeier and Pierce are now locked into Saturday night’s 10 lap dash, which will set the first four rows of the $2,500-to-win/$500-to-start, 35 lap A-main. The top eight drivers on the starting grid on Saturday will also have the opportunity to tag the rear of the field for a chance at the $8,200-to-win Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin’ Challenge.
